How to Use the Data Grid and Uploading MDinteractive Templates

Using the Data Grid

Once you have entered your MIPS Plans on the dashboard, quality data can be entered into your account through the Data Grid. Click Data Grid on the Menu Bar to begin.

Choose MIPS Quality Measure

Use the drop down arrow to select the Quality Measure you want to add patient data to your account.

Enter Quality Data

Two ways to use the data grid:

1. Enter quality data manually (patient by patient) into ALL fields on the Data Grid.OR
2. Data captured on MDinteractive Templates can be loaded directly into the Data Grid by clicking Load File.  Note that you can also upload templates by clicking on the Upload Files module at the top of the screen.

• When manually entering data, be sure to click Submit Data after approx. 20 entries.  Submitting data does not mean it is being submitted to CMS at this time.  Clicking submit imports the data into your account.

Uploading Template Files

After clicking the Load File button, this screen will appear and allow you to upload your completed MDinteractive Template.  Please review the specifications on this screen to make sure you are doing it correctly.

For example, when loading a file, the MDinteractive Template should not exceed 5,000 rows of data.

To upload, click "Choose File" to find the file you are uploading on your computer and then click Upload.

Note: You can also start this process by clicking on Upload File Module at the top of your dashboard and then MDinteractive Templates option.

Submit Data

After data has been successfully loaded (Load File) into the Data Grid, click Submit Data for the data to be imported into your account.

Data Errors

Any data entry error is indicated by a red box warning which must be corrected before data will be imported.

• Few errors - these can be corrected directly in the Data Grid.
• Many errors - these corrections should be made on the original MDinteractive Template and the file should be re-loaded to the Data Grid.

Clear Grid

If the data loaded has many red errors, click Clear Grid to clean the grid and start over.

Return to Homepage

Once you are finished with the Data Grid, click on Home to return to your account Homepage.
