Repeat the process for each one of remaining quality measures:
- Diabetes: Hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) Poor Control (CMS122)
- Preventive Care and Screening: Screening for Depression and Follow-up Plan (CMS2)
- Breast Cancer Screening (CMS125)
Important: Clinicians Leaving the Practice
If a clinician has left your practice, do not delete the clinician from athenaOne before generating QRDA I files. Deleting a clinician may remove that clinician's quality data from reports, which can result in patients being excluded from the QRDA I files.
Instead, athenahealth recommends turning off "Clinical Encounters" for the departed clinician. This preserves the clinician's historical quality data for reporting while preventing new encounters from being created under that clinician.
Additional Notes
Please keep the following in mind when generating QRDA I files from athenaOne:
- Select the appropriate reporting year.
- Select one program and one quality measure. QRDA I files can only be generated for a single quality measure at a time.
- Wait for the patient count to finish loading before exporting.
- If the patient count exceeds 25,000 patients, use the Patient Demographic filters to reduce the patient volume before exporting.
- Once the patient count is below 25,000, click Download > QRDA-I > Export to generate the file.
- If the patient count is already below 25,000, no Patient Demographic filters are required.
